Hearing on the request of Burnell, Branch and Pester Architects, agent/architect for M3 Multifamily, LLC to consider Case No. 13-1650-DP/CDP for continued preliminary review of a proposed mixed-use development on an existing vacant parcel. The project would include a two-story 5,999 square foot commercial building and a detached carport/garage structure with two 601 square foot one-bedroom apartments located above. The maximum height of the commercial building would be 33 feet to the uppermost parapet wall, the residential duplex would reach a maximum height of 28 feet five inches. The property is a 10,000 square foot parcel zoned Central Business (CB) and shown as APN 003-253-008 located at 4819 Carpinteria Avenue.

Hearing on the request of Larry Clark, architect for Mark and Kathryn DiRado, to consider Case No. 13-1655-ARB for the preliminary/final review of a request to remodel an existing one-story single family residence, by constructing a new 441 square foot garage and convert the existing 441 square foot garage to habitable space. The new total square footage of the residence would increase from 1,175 square feet to 2,120 square feet. The project involves APN 003-352-001, located at 5615 Canalino Drive.
Hearing on the request of Howard Parsell, agent/architect for Dako North America, Inc. to consider Case No. 13-1656-DPR/CDP for preliminary review of a request to complete interior tenant improvements to an existing commercial office building and construct an addition comprising 1,600 square feet. The property is a 1.23 acre parcel zoned Industrial Research Park (M-RP) and shown as APN 001-190-091 located at 6392 Via Real.
