Hearing on the request of Dylan Chappell, architect for Alex Hamadi owner of Beach Bowls to consider Case No.13-1674-ARB for preliminary/final review of a project to modify the exterior façade of an existing commercial space and install new signage. The property currently consists of a multitenant commercial building with tenants including Napa Auto Parts, The Gym Next Door and Blue Pacific, is located at 901 Linden Avenue. The property is a 0.15 acre parcel zoned Central Business (CB) and shown as APN 003-261-007.
Hearing on the request of William Araluce, architect for Barbara and Peter Coeler to consider Case No. 10-1551-DPR/CDP for an in-progress review of a proposed driveway gate and preliminary/final review of a new ground identification sign for the newly remodeled multifamily residential development at 261 Linden Avenue. The property is an 8,818 square foot parcel zoned Planned Residential Development (PRD-20) and shown as APN 003-483-007.
Hearing on the request of John Godkin, agent for Gail and Rocky Marshall to consider Case No. 13-1662-CUP/CDP for final review of a request replace an existing legal nonconforming single car carport with a new one-car garage in the same location/footprint. As part of the project, a new covered porch would be added to the main entry. The property is a 7,000 square foot parcel zoned Single Family Residential (6-R-1) and shown as APN 003-381-010 located at 5559 Canalino Drive.
Hearing on the request of James Zimmerman, architect for Lars and Kay Olson to consider Case No. 13-1677-ARB for preliminary/final review of a request to remodel an existing single family residence and construct additions totaling 88 square feet. Proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, a new entry element, free-standing pergola, decorative patio, new low wall and gate, decorative trellis, an 82-square foot master bedroom addition and a new rear-facing porch cover. The property is an 8,276 square foot parcel zoned Single Family Residential (7-R-1) and shown as APN 004-008-023 located at 1477 Santa Ynez Avenue.
Hearing on the request of Robin Donaldson, AIA, architect for Carpinteria Business Park Investors, LLC consider Case No. 13-1664-ARB for preliminary review to redesign the 84,550 square foot office building with 340 associated parking spaces approved by the City Council in September 2008. The redesigned structure would be 84,474 square feet in size, while the maximum height would remain as approved at 27.5 feet. Three additional parking spaces are proposed, bring the total to 343. The property is an 8.63 acre parcel zoned Industrial Research Park (MRP) and shown as APN 001-190-097 located at 6380 Via Real.
