f. Recommendation by ARB
on the request of Bryan Pollard agent/architect for John and Michaela Frontera to consider Case No. 09-1517-DPM/CUP/CDP for preliminary
review of a request to add 453 square feet of new living area to an existing
two story, three unit multi-family complex. The new addition would be two stories and
would fill in the existing open/patio space between the existing one story
single family dwelling and the existing two story duplex on the property,
thereby creating one, larger two story triplex building. The total square footage of the three units
(and the two attached garage spaces) would increase from 2,755 square feet to
3,208 square feet. The maximum height of
the structure would remain at 22 feet eight inches; the new addition would
reach a maximum height of 21 feet 10 inches.
Hearing on the request of Barry Horwitz, agent for Robert Durtche to consider Case No. 09-1524-DP/VAR/CDP for conceptual review of a request to remodel the existing single family residence and construct first and second-floor additions totaling 1,663 square feet. The new total square footage of the residence would increase to 2,699 square feet and the maximum height of the residence would increase to approximately 26 feet six inches. The proposed Variance would allow the new ground floor addition to encroach into the required street-side yard setback one foot six inches.
