  • Materials related to Agenda item(s) submitted after distribution of the agenda packet are available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office at 5775 Carpinteria Avenue, Carpinteria, during normal business hours. Such documents are also available on the City of Carpinteria website at www.carpinteria.ca.us subject to staff’s ability to post the documents before the meeting.

 

  • Any written or printed material and/or exhibits presented at the Special meeting become the property of the City.

 

·         As a courtesy to others and to avoid interference with the public address system, please refrain from using cell phones in the Council Chambers and please turn off all audible pagers and rings.

CITY COUNCIL / PLANNING COMMISSION

 

The City Council and Planning Commission will meet for the following purpose:

 

1.                              Submittal of Comments to Caltrans Concerning the South Coast 101 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lanes Project Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment

 

            Recommendation: Consider public comments and submit a comment letter on the Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment for the proposed South Coast 101 Lanes Project proposed by Caltrans District 5.

PUBLIC COMMENT CONCERING THE AGENDIZED ITEM FOR THIS SPECIAL MEETING

 

The Public Comment period is limited to 15 minutes and divided among those persons desiring to speak. No person shall speak longer than three minutes; however, the Mayor may establish shorter periods based on the time available and/or the number of persons waiting to speak.

 

The City and the City Council are not responsible for the content of statements made during the public comment period, or the factual accuracy of any such statements.
