Environmental
Review Committee (ERC)
The Environmental
Review Committee is a five-member board made up of the Community
Development Director, Assistant to the City Manager, the Public
Works Director, the City Biological Resource Specialist, and a
member of the general public. The function of this board is to:

Review Initial Studies to determine whether a
Negative Declaration or EIR is the appropriate environmental
document based on the facts as presented.

Review draft environmental documents and comments
received during public comment period.

Make recommendations to the Planning Commission
and/or City Council regarding the adequacy of environmental
documents including Mitigation Monitoring Programs.
