This is a time for public comments on matters not otherwise on the agenda but within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Planning Commission.  Comments shall be limited to 15 minutes, divided among those persons desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes.  Persons wishing to speak on a specific item will be recognized at the time the agenda item is considered.

Hearing on the request of Ray Ames, agent for Mike and Susan Ahn, to consider Case No. 09-1539-DP/CDP (application filed December 30, 2009) for review under the provisions of the Planned Residential Development (PRD-15) Zone District to demolish two existing residences and construct a two-story duplex with attached three-car garage; and to consider the exemption pursuant to §15303 and 15332 of the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).  The application involves APN 003-304-010, addressed as 4848 Seventh Street.

b.    Carpinteria Sanitary District Septic to Sewer                  Planner:  Shanna Farley

       Environmental Documents:

       Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3, Volume 4, Supplement, Addendum

Hearing on the request of Penfield & Smith, agent for Carpinteria Sanitary District, to consider case No. 09-1537-CUP/CDP (application filed November 25, 2009) for review of a proposal to install 160 linear feet of three-inch sewer main under Carpinteria Salt Marsh Park, connecting to an existing manhole on Ash Avenue, and to install eight-inch and four-inch sewer line in Carpinteria Avenue between the Carpinteria Bluffs Sewer Main Replacement Project (09-1535-CUP/CDP) and Highway 101 at Rincon Road / Highway 150; and to accept the Addendum prepared by the Sanitary District pursuant to the State Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).  The application involves APN  003-470-001 (zoned Recreation) and the Caltrans Right of Way at the eastern City boundary at Highway 150 (zoned Resort).
