trained in the art/sport of riding ocean
waves. Surfing technique, wave dynamics,
and social etiquette lessons provide the
beginning surfer an experience they will
never forget.
Kayak Class
Enjoy the view from sit-on-top kayaks
while paddling around the kelp forest
and rocky reef habitats off
Carpinteria’s shore. Learn kayaking
technique and boating safety from
trained beach lifeguards, and get fit
while having fun on the water. Fishing
and snorkeling are optional.
 Sailing Class
Harness the power of the wind and glide
across the blue Pacific in a
catamaran sailboat. Trained beach
lifeguards teach boating safety and
sailing technique while you enjoy the
thrill of sailing. Fishing and
snorkeling are optional.
